Dannielle Tegeder: The Library of Abstract Sound
Dannielle Tegeder reinvigorates the old modernist idea - going back to Vassily Kandinsky - of correspondences between sounds and shapes and colors. Assigning hues and abstract forms to pitches and durations in existing music in the public domain, she generated a "library" of framed abstractions that evoke experiences crossing the boundaries between senses.
